What we do:
Our School Counselors work with students, parents/guardians, staff, and the wider community to provide resources and support in each of the following domains so that students can develop the attitudes, skills, and knowledge necessary for success in high school and beyond:
College and Career
Academic
Personal and Social
In case of an emergency:
Please note that the Counseling Department is not available after hours or during breaks and non-school days.
If you need resources for mental health crisis situations, please contact Colorado Crisis Services at 1-844-493-8255 or text "TALK" to 38255 (available 24/7).
To Report a Concern:
If any student is struggling with thoughts of self-harm, Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership can set up a video conference by calling (719) 573-7447. Therapists have the ability to video conference, and peer support groups will be accessible through a Zoom link. School counselors may also be contacted to provide student support and assist with concerns.
Safe 2 Tell to anonymously report any threatening behavior that endangers you, your friends, your family, or your community. If you or someone you know is in urgent danger, call 911.
To report suspected child abuse or neglect, call 1-844-CO-4-KIDS. This is a statewide number that directs callers to call-takers in their specific county.
